Welcome to ProfeNeuroPlus (profeneuroplus.org). Your privacy is incredibly important to us. We designed this platform to be a safe, secure, and inspiring environment for K–12 teachers and students. We believe in being fully open and honest about how we handle information. This policy is written in plain English — no confusing legalese — so teachers, parents, and students can understand it in less than five minutes.
ProfeNeuroPlus is owned and operated by NeuroEcosystem Institute, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to innovative educational technologies.
From Teachers: Name, school email, role. Lessons created and lesson content generated.
From Students: Age range only (not exact DOB). Lesson activity and NeuroScore assessment data.
From Parents: Email and consent verification (managed via our AccessGrant system) when granting permission for children under 13.
AR Camera: Our AR lesson planner uses your device camera. This camera feed is processed entirely locally on your device. It is NEVER sent to our servers. We never view or store camera images.
To deliver learning experiences, save progress, power AI features (lesson generation, NeuroSage Echo), and improve the platform using aggregated non-identifiable statistics. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your data. No advertising. No behavioral profiling of students.
Data is stored on the Base44 platform (Texas, USA) with HTTPS/SSL encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Access is restricted to authorized staff only.
No child under 13 may use the platform without verifiable parental or guardian consent (via AccessGrant). Parents have the right to: (1) review their child's data, (2) request correction or deletion, (3) refuse further data collection. No behavioral ads. No data sold. ProfeNeuroPlus acts as a "School Official" under FERPA, operating under the direct control of partner schools for student record purposes. We use student data solely for legitimate educational purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, and port your data. Legal basis: consent and performance of contract. Data is processed in the USA under strict contractual safeguards.
Active accounts: data retained while account is active. Inactive 12+ months or upon deletion request: all data permanently purged within 30 days.
